In the third quarter of 2024, the top air travel apps on the Android platform in South America demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active user engagement. Data sourced from Sensor Tower reveals key insights into these trends.

LATAM Airlines saw weekly downloads fluctuating throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 49K in mid-July and ending September with around 48K downloads. The app maintained a steady base of active users, starting the quarter with 254K and finishing with nearly 259K.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads in late July, reaching nearly 39K, and maintained high engagement with active users peaking at approximately 302K in early August. Revenue for the app saw a slight dip in July but recovered to around $4.5K by the end of September.

Azul showed a consistent download trend, with weekly downloads hovering around 23K. Active user numbers were relatively stable, starting the quarter at 106K and slightly dipping to 100K by the end of September.
